IIT Roorkee Entrepreneur Forum is an active, year-round platform for IIT Roorkee alumni as well as current students, to explore and finesse their entrepreneurial instincts by pitching business ideas and start-ups to a panel of senior Venture Capitalists and entrepreneurs for mentorship and incubation. This online-only platform brings together the diverse and global IIT Roorkee alumni network, and helps with mentoring by building great businesses of tomorrow. The platform will be executed by way of web-based live-video quarterly conferences where entrepreneurs will pitch ideas from wherever they may be to a panel of online mentors. Many of these live-video conferences would also include audience participation.

IIT Roorkee Entrepreneur Forum (site) is a joint initiative of IIT Roorkee Alumni Association of North America (IITRAANA), Entreprenurship Development Cell IIT Roorkee and Information Management Group IIT Roorkee.

It was launched at IIT Roorkee Alumni 2012 N.A. Reunion in Chicago, as a forum that consisted of experienced Angel/Venture Capital investors. (details). As a first step to a longer-term engagement, the Forum hosted a Venture Pitchfest that was highly successful and generated a lot of excitement with nearly a dozen start-ups/prospects pitching their ideas for funding or networking or other needs.

Irrespective of your age, location and how evolved your startup is, the enterprise forum is a place for you for:
  • Mentorship
