Election Committee announced call for applications from North America based alumni for the voluntary position of President-elect of the association, who will be President of the association beginning Jan 1st 2022 for a period of 2 years.

The process for nominations, which can originate from individuals or by referral, is described below.

In their message, the board and election committee thanked alumni in advance for your participation in this important process, which the board recognizes as an essential part of our identity and operations.Nomination process:

• Individual - Self-nomination + letter of support from 2 other North America based IIT Roorkee alumni.
• Referral - Nomination with candidate approval + letters of support from 2 other North America based alumni.
• [EXTENDED] Jul 25th, 2021: Deadline for all nominations.

How to Apply:
Each applicant must be an IIT-RAANA member. The application packet must include the following information:

• Current curriculum vitae of applicant, brief description of the applicant’s qualifications, specifically highlighting the applicant’s interests and focus.
• Applicant’s approval for Referral nomination.
• A letter of intent from the applicant describing his/her willingness to serve and a statement that highlights what he/she would like to contribute to advancing the mission of IIT-RAANA.
• Two letters of support / recommendation from other IIT-RAANA per applicant.
• Applications by interested the interested alumni must be received in their entirety no later than [Extended] Jul 25th, 2021 by email, to nominations@iitraana.org, Subject line: Nomination for President Elect.
