Manoj Goel (BE '81) Entrepreneur, Advisor, Board Member IIRHF

A Co-founder of Internet Junction (acquired by Cisco), and Mobilspan, Manoj is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur who has served as an advisor to many startups with business strategy, strategic alliances, and venture introductions. Manoj is a Charter member of "The Indus Entrepreneurs" (TiE)– a global non-profit organization focused on entrepreneurs, and a Board member of IIT Roorkee Heritage Foundation.

He began his career as a technologist at Intel and later transitioned to Marketing at Novell, Apple, and Cisco. During his career Manoj successfully built and helped build technology businesses. He co-founder Internet Junction (acquired by Cisco), and Mobilspan. As advisor to several startups, he has assisted them with business strategy, strategic alliances and venture introductions.

He has a passion for social causes. During last few years, he funded and help raise funding for several causes like: Roorkee School for the Deaf, Roorkee Divine School (for slum kids), Ekal Vidyalaya (www.ekalindia.org), Maitri (www.maitri.org), Climate healers (www.climatehealers.org), and many more.

Manoj holds MBA from Haas School of Business, MSCS from Syracuse University and BS in Mechanical Engineering (Gold medalist) from IIT Roorkee. He is a Charter member of "The Indus Entrepreneurs" (TiE)– a global non-profit organization focused on entrepreneurs, and a Board member of IIT Roorkee Heritage Foundation. In the past, he served as President of IIT Roorkee Alumni Association of Northern California and Vice-President of Pan IIT USA foundation.
