Prof Atma R Sahu, Professor of Mathematics, Past President IITRAANA, President IITRF Inc, USA

Dr. Atma R. Sahu (1973-Ph.D-Mathematics) is a Professor of Mathematics at Coppin State University, USA. He has published numerous research papers in US domestic, leading India journals and international refereed journals in the areas of vibrations of elastic beams, computational mathematics, and mathematical modeling. He also has made significant contributions in educational aspects of problem-solving, systems approach, teacher education, online curriculum and instruction design in STEM fields, and Engineering Ethics Education. His research collaborations have no boundaries, and he has numerous co-workers in research institutions in India as well as in the USA.

Dr. Sahu successfully wrote NSF-DST supported workshop grant to increase multi-author research involving international collaboration on the Elastic Vibrations, Smart Structures, and Their Solution Technologies, and hosted jointly at IIT Roorkee (University of Roorkee). Dr. Sahu's excellence in service has no border and has impacted by serving Ph.D. examiners of numerous research scholars, and delivered keynotes. He is an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Fuzzy Computation and Modelling, and Co-Editor of the Journal of Advances In Acoustics and Vibration.

He is a co-founder of PanIIT Board of Directors USA and currently serving as a President and co-founder board of director of IIT Roorkee Foundation Inc, USA. The PanIIT logo was designed and produced by the PanIIT team that he chaired. He also served as US National President of IIT Roorkee Alumni Association. He has organized numerous Roorkee alumni meetings in the US and in India, including an IITR Alumni event addresses by late Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan Prof. Shri Krishna Joshi. He has over 5,500 active IIT Roorkee alumni members in his LinkedIn Network.
