Dr. Rajesh Tyagi is an assistant professor at HEC Montreal, Department of Logistics and Operations Management. Professor Tyagi teaches Service Operations, Operations Management, and Quality Management. Earlier, Dr. Tyagi taught service operations and operations management at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University and at DePaul University, College of Commerce. His current research and consulting interests are in areas of optimal service chain design, measurement of service quality, evolving role of a product management in hi-tech industry and service sector, and six sigma applications in services sector. He has over 15 publications in scientific and technology journals and has presented at various national and international conferences. He is the co-author of Six Sigma for Transactions and Service (2005) and A Complete and Balanced Service Scorecard: Creating Value Through Sustained Performance Improvement (2008). Before moving to Montreal in 2008, Dr. Tyagi worked as a project manager and consulted extensively in hi-tech industries. He obtained his PhD in Engineering at the University of Ottawa, Canada and MBA from The Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. |
